The only drawback is that they are heavy and are difficult to lift when carrying a baby in car seats.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to put together. In contrast the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base, then detach it from there.
In our tests, we took just 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz v2. This is a relatively simple process when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the pieces. Most of these models have an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
